Toffee Sauce

Yum is the only word that can be used to describe a good toffee sauce. Who would have guessed that melting some butter, adding plenty of brown sugar and heat. Just before serving stir in some whipping cream and whisk in. I mean, sometimes perfection is just the easiest. If you want to be cool like me you can add a pinch of really good sea salt crystals; they really bring out the sweetness and the rich flavour. What do you have it with? Well… an obvious choice is a hot pudding, ice cream and the like. But why not think about making it into a jelly? Or, thicken it up by heating for longer, and have it on toast as a spread! Picture enclosed just looks cool in my opinion!

100 grams butter

200 grams sugar

Up to 150ml whipping cream (add as much as you need)
